BECOMING A MEMBER
Greater Community has a low-pressure approach to guests becoming members. We acknowledge our guests each Sunday, providing gifts for first time guest with a goal to remain in contact throught mail, phone, social media and email. We have often been asked “how can I join?” We encourage you to “kick the tires” and be comfortable with our flavor!
If you would like to be a member of our church, you are welcome to join at any time. We would greet you with open arms and ask that you would get involved in any of the church ministries. There is plenty of work to be done for God’s Kingdom and we believe that God has imparted special talents and gifts in you to help our church reach souls and expand its purpose of bringing ‘Kingdom to Community’.
FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS
We've developed a list of commonly asked questions to help you better understand Greater Community. If you can’t find an answer to your question here, feel free to call us with your question. Or upon visiting, our staff and H.U.G.S. (Hospitality, Ushers, and Greeters) members are available to assist with your needs.

Q. What is the attire?
A. Style shouldn't hinder your experience with God. If you prefer formal dress for worship, please dress formally. If you prefer casual, you have the freedom to come casual. We are a real, relevant, and relational church and our worship is hinged on faith - not fabric.

Q. Where can I park?
A. Parking is available in any one of the four major parking lots adjacent to the church. Parking lot attendants are on hand to assist during Sunday morning services and they will be able to direct you to available parking spaces. Upon exiting your vehicle, a member services golf cart will be available to transport you from your vehicle to the main entrance of the church.

Q. Can I meet the Pastor?
A. Yes! Pastor Brown would be delighted to meet you. He is available after Sunday morning services to personally speak with you. During worship services, Pastor Brown will personally greet all of our guests and he would like to make sure that you are welcome.

Q. How do I get involved?
A. Once you are an active member, you are encouraged to get connected with a ministry that meets your needs and become an active participant in lending your spiritual gifts. There are various volunteer opportunities at the church and we would love to have your help as we impact others and bring Kingdom to Community.

Q. What do you offer for children?
A. During Sunday morning service at 11am, our nursery is open to offer age-appropriate church activities to children. Additionally, we have several ministries that are designed specifically for youth.

Q. What types of accommodations do you offer for people who are physically impaired?
A. We want everyone who wants to experience God at our church to do so in a comfortable atmosphere. If you are physically impaired, we are available to assist you with parking and seating arrangements.

Q. Do you offer transportation to the church?
A. Greater Community has passenger vans available to pick-up and drop off community residents that have a desire to attend our services. Please contact our office for more information.

Q. Will I be asked to give money?
A. If you are a guest, please do not feel any obligation to give. We believe giving is an act of worship wherein those who have a personal relationship with God through Christ, give regularly and generously in response to God’s gracious gifts.
